And if that (the) People (of) the Book (had) believed and feared (Allah), surely We (would have) removed from them their evil (deeds) and surely We (would have) admitted them (to) Gardens (of) Bliss.
If the followers of the Bible would but attain to [true] faith and God-consciousness, We should indeed efface their [previous] bad deeds, and indeed bring them into gardens of bliss
If only the People of the Scripture would believe and ward off (evil), surely We should remit their sins from them and surely We should bring them into Gardens of Delight
If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss
Had the People of the Book only been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have certainly absolved them of their sins and admitted them into the Gardens of Bliss.
If the People of the Book would only truly believe and be mindful of God! We would wipe away their former evil deeds and bring them into Gardens of delight;
If only the People of the Book would believe and be mindful of God, We would surely pardon their sins and We would surely admit them into the Gardens of Bliss
And if the followers of the Book had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have covered their evil deeds and We would certainly have made them enter gardens of blis
And if the People of the Book believed and were Godfearing, certainly, We would have absolved them from their evil deeds and caused them to enter into Gardens of Bliss.
If the People of the Book would only believe and do their duty, We would overlook their evil deeds for them and show them into gardens full of Bliss.
And if the people of the Scripture had believed and become pious, We would surely have wiped out from them their sins and would have surely admitted them to gardens of bliss (Paradise).
Had the People of the Book believed and been reverent, We would surely have absolved them of their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of bliss
And if the people who possess Al-Kitab had Believed and become obedient, indeed We would have written off from their account their sins and definitely admitted them to Gardens of pleasure
If instead of this rebellious attitude the people of the Book had believed and become Godfearing, We would certainly have removed their iniquities and admitted them to the gardens of Bliss (Paradise)
Had the People of the Scriputure believed and been righteous, We would have remitted their sins, and admitted them into the Gardens of Bliss
And if the Population of the Book (O: Family of the Book, i.e., the Jews and Christians) had believed and been pious, We would indeed have expiated for them their odious deeds and would indeed have caused them to enter the Gardens of Bliss
Had the People of the Book accepted the faith and observed piety, certainly, We would have redeemed their bad deeds and admitted them into a blissful Paradise
If the People of the Book had believed and feared Allah, We would have written off their evil deeds and would have surely admitted them to the Gardens of Bliss
If the People of the Scripture would believe in the Qur'an and be mindful of the Divine Laws, We would remit their sins from them and admit them into the Gardens of Bliss
Had the people of the book believed and feared, We would have rid them of their sins (and their faults and flaws), and (We) would have ushered them into the blessing-filled paradise
If the people of the Book had only believed and been righteous, We should indeed have removed their sin and admitted them to Gardens of Happiness
And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah , We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure
And if the people of the Scripture only would have believed and been aware, We would have cancelled for them their sins and admitted them to gardens of Paradise
If only the People of the Book would believe and be mindful of God, We would take away their sins and bring them into the Gardens of Delight
And had the people of the Book believed and feared, We would surely have expiated from them their misdeeds and would surely have made them enter the Garden of Delight
If the people of the Book had believed and feared, We would surely have absolved them of their sins, and admitted them to gardens of delight
If only the People of the Book had had iman and taqwa, We would have erased their evil deeds from them and admitted them into Gardens of Delight.
If only the People of the Book would believe (in the Prophet Muhammad and what is revealed to him), and keep from disobedience to God in piety so as to deserve His protection, We would certainly blot out from them their (previous) evil deeds and admit them for sure into Gardens of bounty and blessings
Had the People of the Book believed and been Godwary, We would surely have absolved them of their misdeeds and admitted them into gardens of bliss
But if only the people of the Book would believe and fear (avoid evil), We would remit their offences, and We would make them enter into Gardens of Delight
And if people of the book believed and were cautious (of God), We would have removed their sins from them and admitted them into gardens of delight
If only the people of the Book had believed and been righteous, We would indeed have forgiven their immorality and admitted them to gardens of bliss
Had the People of The Book believed and become mindful, then We would erase their sins and admit them into the gardens of bliss.
Had the People of the Book only believed and been God-fearing, We should surely have effaced from them their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of Bliss
And if the people of the Book only had believed and been aware, We would have cancelled for them their sins and admitted them to gardens of bliss
And if the people of the Book had indeed believed, and feared Allah, We would certainly have cleared their bad deeds from them and We would certainly have made them enter gardens of bliss
And had the people of the Book believed and been duty-bound. Then indeed We would have removed their sins and We would surely have caused them to enter gardens of Bliss.
If only the people of the scripture believe and lead a righteous life, we will then remit their sins, and admit them into gardens of bliss.
If the People of the Book had believed and kept from evil, We would pardon them their sins and admit them to the Gardens of Delight
And if the People of the Book had believed and kept their duty We would certainly have removed from them their evils, and made them enter gardens of bliss
And if that The Book's people believed and feared and obeyed We would have substituted from them their sins/crimes, and We would have entered them the blessing's gardens
If [instead of this unreasonable rebellion] the people of the Scriptures believe in and respect Me, I will cover their sins and admit them into the gardens of Paradise
If the People given the Book(s) had accepted faith and been pious, We would have certainly redeemed them of their sins and would have certainly taken them into serene Gardens
And if the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, WE would surely have removed from them their evils and WE would surely have admitted them into Gardens of bliss
And if the People of the Book had believed (in Muhammad, the Messenger, [blessings and peace be upon him]) and adopted Godwariness, We would have removed all their sins (from their record), and would surely have admitted them to the blissful Gardens
And if the people of the Scripture had only believed and guarded against evil, We would surely have absolved them of their sins and We would surely make them enter Gardens of bliss
And if only the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) had believed (in Muhammad SAW) and warded off evil (sin, ascribing partners to Allah) and had become AlMuttaqoon (the pious - see V.2:2) We would indeed have blotted out their sins and admitted them to Gardens of pleasure (in Paradise)
But had the People of the Book believed and been godfearing, We would have acquitted them of their evil deeds, and admitted them to Gardens of Bliss
More, if they who have received the scriptures believe, and fear God, We will surely expiate their sins from them, and We will lead them into gardens of pleasure
But did the people of the Book believe and fear, we would cover their offences, and we would make them enter into gardens of pleasure
But if the people of the Book believe and have the fear of God, we will surely put away their sins from them, and will bring them into gardens of delight
And if the People of the Book accept the Faith and fear God, We will pardon them their misdeeds and admit them to the Gardens of Delight
If the people of the Book had believed and been righteous, We would have washed away their sins and admitted them to gardens of bliss.
If the People of the Book would only believe and do their duty, We would overlook their evil deeds for them and show them into gardens full of Bliss. * If they had only kept up the Torah and the Gospel, and whatever was sent down to them by their Lord, they would have eaten anything above them and from beneath their feet. Some of them form a moderate community, while many of them act badly in anything they do.
If only the people of earlier revelations would believe and be God-fearing, We should indeed efface their [past] bad deeds, and bring them into gardens of bliss.
Had those, to whom the knowledge of the reality came, believed (evaluated this knowledge) and protected themselves (from shirq; duality) We would surely have erased their bad deeds and placed them in Paradises of Naim (a state in which the forces pertaining to Allah become manifest).
And if the People of the Book had believed and kept from evil, We would certainly have remitted their sins and We would certainly have made them enter Gardens of Bless.
Had Ahl al-Kitab conformed to Allah’s will and acknowledged the mission of His Messenger and -the Quran- sent down to him, and entertained the profound reverence dutiful to Allah, We would have dropped the charges against them and cancelled their misfortunes and admitted them to the gardens of bliss and beatitude
And had the owners of the book believed and guarded (against evil), We would have wiped off from them (the effect of) their evils and We would have made them enter gardens of bliss.
If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss
And if that (the) People (of) the Book (had) believed and consciously revered (Allah surely We (would have) removed from them their evil (deeds) and surely We (would have) adm (to) Gardens (of) Bliss
